Your record is yours.

Wealthbook keeps a record of your financial life for you and your family. This page says plainly what it keeps, why, who can see it, and what happens when you connect a mailbox. Last updated 23 September 2026.

Who we are

Wealthbook is a service of Perpetual Wealth Group. It is a record, not advice: the book keeps what you put in it and what your adviser puts in it for you. Any advice you receive comes from a regulated firm, in its own name.

What the book keeps

What you tell it or hand it: your details, your family, your properties, accounts and possessions, the papers you file, the notes you and your adviser write, and the conversations you have with Charlie, the book’s assistant. It keeps these so the record is there when you need it and so Charlie can answer from it. It is kept for as long as you keep a book, and removed when you close it.

Who can see it

You, and the people you invite into your book. Your adviser sees the pages that concern them while they look after you. Your adviser’s own notes about their work for you are the firm’s record and are not shown to you. Nobody else reads your book. We do not sell or share it, and we do not use it to advertise anything to anyone.

Charlie

Charlie answers from your book. To do that, the words of your questions and the parts of your book they concern are sent to the language model that powers her, under a contract that forbids the provider from keeping or training on them. Charlie writes nothing to your book without telling you, and sends nothing on your behalf without your yes.

A connected mailbox

You may connect an email account (Microsoft 365, Outlook.com, or Gmail) to your book. When you do, the book can read that mailbox on your request, show you emails in its Mail room, reply, tidy, and send email from your own address in your own name. It keeps a sealed key to do this; you can disconnect at any time from Connectors, and the key is destroyed. Nothing from your mailbox is copied into your book unless you file it there yourself, or ask Charlie to.

Wealthbook’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Gmail data is used only to show you your mail in the book and to act on it when you ask; it is never used for advertising, never sold, and never read by a person except with your consent to resolve a problem you have raised.

Your papers

The papers you file — passports, deeds, statements, letters, photographs — are kept in your book’s vault, sealed at rest. Charlie reads a paper to name it and to note the facts on its face (a number, a date, who issued it) so the book can watch its expiry and answer from it; those facts are written to your record and shown to you. A paper is never shared beyond your book, and goes when you remove it or close the book.

Other things you may connect

Besides a mailbox, the book can be joined to other things in your life when you choose to connect them from Connectors: a calendar; files you keep with Microsoft or Google; cameras (Ring, Hikvision, Nest); home systems such as a UniFi network, an alarm or a doorbell, with their alerts; energy (Octopus, SolarEdge, GivEnergy); a car; a bank, by Open Banking, read-only; and, for your adviser, the investment platform. Each door asks its own permission once, does only what its card in Connectors says, and reads on your request. Nothing is watched or recorded by the book on its own; a camera is looked at when you ask, and what it saw is not kept unless you file it. Every door can be disconnected at any time, and its key is destroyed when you do. Some of these doors are not built yet; a door that is not built shows as “soon” in Connectors and connects to nothing.

Where it lives

The book is hosted in the United Kingdom on Microsoft Azure. Keys to connected accounts are stored sealed. Access to the record by the people who run the book is limited to what is needed to keep it running.

Your rights

You may read everything the book holds about you at any time: it is your book. You may correct it, export it, or close it, and closing it removes the record. If you want a copy of what is held, or have any question about this page, ask through the front door or write to us at Perpetual Wealth Group, and we will answer within a month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Changes

When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything that changes what the book does with your record is told to you in the book before it happens.
